DNC (Denotified Communities)
Communities once listed under the colonial Criminal Tribes Act and later denotified; grouped with MBC for reservation in Tamil Nadu.
DNC candidates apply under the combined MBC/DNC quota and share its 20% roster points; TNPSC cut off tables list the category as MBC/DC rather than showing DNC separately. As with every communal claim, it is proved with the permanent community certificate at certificate verification, and a claim that cannot be proved with originals is simply not counted.
