Worth knowing
Results arrive as register-number PDF lists on tnpsc.gov.in, shortlists for the next stage first, final selection lists later. Individual marks open in your OTR login after the list, and rank information follows.
Being on a shortlist means you advance to Part B evaluated only if Part A minimum (40%) is cleared, Document Verification & Counselling, No interview. Compare your marks with the category cut off to understand your margin, it tells you whether the next stage is yours to lose or a stretch.
Your marks against the cut off show exactly how far you were and, unit by unit, where the gap lived. Most selections happen on the second serious attempt, start the next cycle from your weakest two units, not from page one.
Cycle stages and figures follow official TNPSC notifications; dates update when TNPSC announces them. Sources: TNPSC official notifications. Figures are indicative and may change with each official notification. Data last reviewed: July 2026.
