PwBD Reservation
Horizontal reservation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (40% or more disability), applied across categories with scribe and time concessions in the exam.
Being horizontal, PwBD reservation cuts across communal categories: a BC PwBD candidate is counted within the BC roster while also drawing the PwBD entitlement. PwBD candidates are exempt from examination fees and get extended upper age limits, 42 for Group 4 against 32 for others. The disability must be certified by a medical board and the certificate produced at verification.
