Ex-Servicemen Quota
Reserved vacancies for retired defence personnel in certain post groups, with substantial age relaxation counted from service years.
Across Group 1, 2 and 4 the ex-servicemen upper age limit is 50, the widest relaxation short of no limit at all. The claim is proved at certificate verification with discharge documents. The quota exists only in post groups where the notification earmarks it, so check the vacancy table before building an application strategy around it.
