Certificate Verification (CV)

The stage where TNPSC checks original certificates, education, age, community, PSTM and special claims, against your application. Unproved claims are dropped.

CV happens after the written results and before counselling, and it works on originals only: education records from SSLC up, the permanent community certificate, year-wise PSTM certificates and any category proofs. A claim you cannot prove is dropped rather than argued, which can move you out of a reserved category and out of the selection. Order missing certificates months ahead; revenue timelines ignore exam calendars.
