The official notification PDF fixes everything for the cycle: vacancy count by post and category, eligibility as applied this time, exam date, fee, centres, and the annexure formats for certificates. Rules can change between cycles, the notification you apply under is the only version that matters.
TNPSC Group 2 / 2A follows the pattern: annually. TNPSC publishes an annual planner with tentative notification months; the actual release lands on tnpsc.gov.in and is reflected here and in our exam calendar as soon as it is out.
Read the eligibility and vacancy tables first, confirm you qualify before anything else. Then check your OTR profile is current (photo recency, education rows), calendar the last date, and apply early rather than in deadline-week portal traffic.
