Group 2 vs Group 2A: what is the difference?
Group 2 covers interview posts and Group 2A covers non-interview posts. Both are recruited through the same CCSE-II examination; 2A selection is decided purely on written marks.
You choose post preferences at application. Interview posts add an oral test stage after mains, while 2A candidates go straight to certificate verification and counselling on written merit.
