How to Challenge the TNPSC Answer Key

After every exam TNPSC publishes a tentative answer key and a short objection window. A well-evidenced objection can change your result; a lazy one changes nothing.

  1. Step 1
Download the tentative key and mark disputes
Compare against your recorded answers. Shortlist only the questions where you have a genuine case, volume doesn't help, evidence does.
  2. Step 2
    Gather textbook evidence
Objections that cite Samacheer textbooks or official government sources carry weight. Note the book, page and exact line that supports your answer.
  3. Step 3
File within the window through the portal
Submit each objection in the prescribed format with your evidence attached, before the deadline. Late objections are not considered.
  4. Step 4
    Watch for the final key
TNPSC reviews all objections and publishes a final key, which is binding. If a question is deleted, marks are typically redistributed as per the notification's rules.
