How to Challenge the TNPSC Answer Key
After every exam TNPSC publishes a tentative answer key and a short objection window. A well-evidenced objection can change your result; a lazy one changes nothing.
- Step 1Download the tentative key and mark disputesCompare against your recorded answers. Shortlist only the questions where you have a genuine case, volume doesn't help, evidence does.
- Step 2Gather textbook evidenceObjections that cite Samacheer textbooks or official government sources carry weight. Note the book, page and exact line that supports your answer.
- Step 3File within the window through the portalSubmit each objection in the prescribed format with your evidence attached, before the deadline. Late objections are not considered.
- Step 4Watch for the final keyTNPSC reviews all objections and publishes a final key, which is binding. If a question is deleted, marks are typically redistributed as per the notification's rules.
